Since 2014, Rowan Schaaf has been serving as the CEO of the Auckland-based boutique software development consultancy and helping to build high-volume transactional websites, launch software startups, and revolutionize business systems. Rowan Schaaf has held multiple senior management positions across the course of his career, primarily within the technology and tech marketing sectors. He has extensive experience leading teams, both large and small, towards success. Prior to 2014, when Rowan Schaaf became the CEO of Pattern Ltd., he worked as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer for the Shopping Channel, a role preceded by time spent as the Chief Operating Officer of Hypermedia Group. He also spent three years with Ogilvy & Mather, New Zealand, working as Executive Director for one of the largest full-service agencies in New Zealand.
Rowan began his career at Terabyte Interactive Limited, one of New Zealand’s oldest web development and interactive design companies, founded in 1990. Here, Rowan worked as Managing Director, interacting with key clients that included Aukland Museum, NZ Parliament, and HSBC UK.
